If you have a port it is important to have it flushed to prevent infection and keep blood from clotting. When your port is not being accessed it is best practice to have it flushed monthly.
You will need a physician's order for Port-a-Cath Flushes.
There is a $20 charge per visit. We can bill Medicare and private insurance.
