Administrator, Adair County, Missouri, Health Department

Reports to Adair County Health Department Board of Directors
The Adair County Health Department is seeking an experienced, visionary, and community-focused Public Health Administrator to lead departmental operations and advance the health of the county. The Administrator is responsible for the overall administration, leadership, planning, and management of the Health Department’s programs, services, personnel, finances and community partnerships. This position works closely with the ACHD Board of Directors, local governments, healthcare providers, community organizations, and state agencies to promote and protect the health of Adair County residents.
The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills, along with expertise in public health principles, program management, grant-writing/administration, and fiscal oversight. A master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred, with demonstrated experience in public health leadership and team management.
