Adair County Health Department App

Kirksville, MO 10/11/22 – The Adair County Health Department has released a mobile app to make accessing information quick, easy, and convenient. The app is available in the App Store and on Google Play. You can access either download using this link or the QR code above.

“More and more people rely on using their mobile phones to access information,” said Jim LeBaron, administrator of the Adair County Health Department. “Pulling up our website can be tedious and not as mobile-friendly as the app. We just want to make it easy for anyone with a smartphone or tablet to access the Health Department.”

Clinic hours, restaurant inspection reports, immunization availability, services, forms, and events are easy to find and access with a data plan, even if you don’t have internet service.

“We hope that by making our information available on an app, more people will become familiar with all the services we provide to Adair County residents,” LeBaron said. “Statistics show that nationwide, 96% of people ages 18 to 29 own smartphones, and 95% of those ages 18 to 49 own them. If we want to reach a younger population less familiar with what we provide, we need to meet them on their phones.”

The mobile app was developed by the Adair County Health Department and ThePublicHealthApp.com.
