Please join the Adair County Health Department in celebrating Home Health month!
Home health care is supportive care provided in the patient’s home by licensed healthcare professionals. Often, the term home health care is used to distinguish it from “in-home custodial services” which is care that is provided by persons who are not nurses, doctors, or other licensed medical personnel. Home Health services help adults and seniors who are recovering after a hospitalization, or acute illness, or other facility stay, or need additional support to remain safely at home and avoid unnecessary hospitalization.
The Adair County Health Department wishes to thank our registered nurses Jamie, Vickie, Tina, and Crescent; therapy staff Mary, Barry, Kim, Roger, Kathy, and Angie; nurse aides; Pam (billing); and others nation-wide that provide these amazing and effective health care services.
