National Infant Immunization Week-April 18-25 2015

NIIW FISHBOWlJPEGJoin the Adair County Health Department and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to ensure children and family members are immunized from vaccine preventable diseases.  This observation is held each year to highlight the importance of protecting children two years and younger from vaccine-preventable diseases.  The theme during 2015 is Immunization.  Power to Protect.

The ACHD gives immunizations to all ages on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm with no appointment needed. Please bring a current shot record and insurance information with you! Please note that we are a “Vaccine for Children” (VFC) provider and also accept Medicaid and self pay.  If you or your child has a fever or isn’t feeling well, we ask that you delay the shots until fever free for at least 48 hours. Please do not hesitate to call (665-8491) and ask for Lori or April should you have questions or concerns about immunizations. We look forward to seeing you and helping to protect you and your family from preventable diseases!
